Health and Fitness Course

Entry Requirements

  • Interview
  • Demonstration of acceptable attendance, desire and commitment to hard work.

Length of Course

  • 12 weeks- one year

Course Synopsis

This course is aimed at participants who would like a career in the health and fitness industry, or participants who want to improve their own health and understanding of fitness.  The course gives participants units towards a Certificate III in Fitness.

  • Illness and disease
  • Nutrition
  • Healthy lifestyle
  • Gym work and exercise plans

Progression

Participants may choose to continue with YMCA to complete the full Certificate III in Fitness.

Additional Information

The course involves gym sessions.  These are subsidised by the YMCA, however, participants must fund the short fall.
